Regional Director of CARE for Latin America and the Caribbean, she has worked with the organization since 2012. She is a feminist and committed to human rights. She has worked for more than 15 years on issues such as gender justice, human rights, participatory politics, and development. She has developed her professional experience with different organizations in Spain, Indonesia and in her country of origin, Brazil. She has a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a specialization in Communication and Culture from the University of Sao Paulo.
