Contribute to the implementation of the Multisectoral Plan to Fight Anemia (Plan Multisectorial de Lucha Contra la Anemia -PMLCA) at the subnational level and, in particular, in the regions of Lambayeque, Lima, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Pasco, Piura, Puno and Metropolitan Lima, focusing on the IAR for the fulfillment of the commitments assumed in the “Governance Agreements 2019 – 2022” referring to the reduction of chronic malnutrition in children under 5 years old and anemia in children under 3 years old.

Young people between 18 and 29 years old, of both sexes, members of youth organizations in the intervention regions that have strengthened their advocacy capacities in favor of incorporating nutrition into the priorities of subnational governments.

Aprendizajes
- Strengthening the capacities of the members of youth groups allows them to develop advocacy processes in favor of nutrition with better solvency.
- Citizen participation on issues such as nutrition generates spaces for discussion between subnational authorities and other actors, who, through coordinated and collaborative work, join efforts aimed at results. These spaces also serve to track progress made.
- Developing a communication campaign that makes visible the advocacy actions carried out by young people as part of civil society, not only reinforcing their participation, but also motivating them to continue strengthening their capacities and prepares them for possible future political participation.
