Native-Amazonian communities that are located in the buffer zone of the Amarakaeri Communal Reserve, National Association of Administration Contract Executors (ANECAP), National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp) and the executor of the administration contract of the Amarakaeri Communal Reserve (ECA-RCA).Objetivo del proyecto
Improve the living conditions of the indigenous population of RCA by strengthening their capacities for community management, their political participation, and the lasting increase of the ecological production of Brazil nuts. All this while indigenous organizations promote and demand, in an effective way, positive improvements for the region of Madre de Dios through their lobbying and advocacy work.

The identification of a forest species with potential for commercialization, development of the value chain and connection to the market. In addition, part of the income received by the community is used to train community guards who carry out protective actions against illegal mining and deforestation. Another part of the resources is used for family farming and the planting of more chestnut trees.
